Things to Do at Ewell's Park :
- Side hike Baldy: Most crews staying at Ewell's Park will side hike Baldy. The trail to Baldy is well marked, and it will take just over an hour to reach Baldy Town. It takes another 3 to get up Baldy, and 2 to get down, so it will be a full day's trip. Take your lunch.
- Program at Miranda: Miranda is located in the canyon just beneath Ewell's Park.
- Take Showers at Baldy Town: Baldy Town does have showers, so your crew can make time to use the facilities.
Words of Wisdom
- When hiking to Baldy, make sure you have your map, your lunch, and water. If you use a hiking staff, be sure to take it. The hike up Baldy is long, but is definitely worth it. The view is incredible.
- If you are picking up food at Baldy Town Commissary, make sure you take a few backpacks to carry it back in. The staff at Baldy Town is very nice, and will allow you to store your gear at the commissary while climbing Baldy.
